After dropping all three games to the San Antonio Spurs (53-16) this season, the Houston Rockets (37-31) look to finally take a game for themselves, while the Spurs aim to make it a clean sweep on the Rockets when they visit the Toyota Center in Houston Sunday.

James Harden, Jeremy Lin and Chandler Parsons have led the Rockets to an impressive March record so far, Houston winning seven of their 10 games this month. However, despite close contests, they have not been able to conquer the Western Conference-leading Spurs, whose balanced offensive attack led by All-Stars Tony Parker and Tim Duncan has given them one of the league's most prolific offenses.

The season series has featured Lin and Parker engaging in classic battles, Lin having dropped 38 points while Parker netted his first career triple double on Dec. 12. With the Rockets currently holding the No.7 seed while the Spurs are battling the Oklahoma City Thunder for first in the West, Houston could potentially meet San Antonio in the first round of the playoffs.

Can Houston finally get one over on the Spurs? Or will it be time for Parker and San Antonio to take out the brooms?

Latinos Post breaks down the key match-ups for tonight's game:

Power Forward: Donetas Motiejunas, Rockets vs. Tim Duncan, Spurs

Motiejunas doesn't put up any big numbers but Rockets coach Kevin McHale loves him for his hustle. He'll need al of that hustle he can muster against Duncan, who is still putting up big numbers at age 36, having averaged 25.5 points in his last four games. Duncan has put up at least 17.3 points against the Rockets this season, so Motiejunas will need to be very aggressive with the two-time league MVP.

Advantage: Spurs

Center: Omer Asik, Rockets vs. Tiago Splitter, Spurs

Asik is averaging 10.4 rebounds for the last five games, but against the Spurs, both his rebounds and points have fallen. Splitter, meanwhile, is putting up 11.3 points against Houston this season. If Asik can overpower Splitter for the boards, especially on offense, Houston could use those second-chance opportunities to their advantage.

Advantage: Even

Small Forward: Chandler Parsons, Rockets, vs. Kawhi Leonard, Spurs

Leonard has been looking impressive in his last five games, scoring 16.5 points on 51.0 percent shooting. Parsons, however, has not, as he has struggled with only 20.4 percent shooting since March 13, his 11.4 points over the last five games almost four points below his 15.1 season average. Fortunately, he has picked it up against San Antonio with 17.0 points against the Spurs in three games. The Rockets will need Parsons to be that good if they want to finally beat the Spurs this season.

Advantage: Even

Shooting guard: James Harden, Rockets vs. Danny Green, Spurs

Harden played only two games against San Antonio this season, but he burned them for 31.0 points on 52.6 percent shooting. And the first-time All-Star has not slowed down since then. Having scored 25.0 points in his last five games on 48.5 percent shooting. Green, who has put up 10.7 points this season, contributes for the Spurs as well, but he and Parker will have to find a way to slow down Harden if the Spurs want to complete a sweep.

Advantage: Rockets

Point guard: Jeremy Lin, Rockets vs. Tony Parker, Spurs

Lin vs. Parker, Part IV-The Final Encounter. (Or possibly, the final one before the playoffs begin next month.)

While Parker may have sat out three games before returning Friday against the Jazz, with no injuries reported on the Spurs, expect him to be back in the lineup Sunday when the Rockets and Spurs clash once again.

Lin, who has put up 38-and 21-point nights against the Spurs in December, has been heating up on offense, having scored 20-plus points in three straight games before he played reduced minutes on Friday. Against the Spurs, Lin has averaged 21.0 points and 6.3 assists this season, playing some of his best basketball. Parker, who scored 22 points against the Jazz Friday, has been a constant bane for the Rockets, whom he has smoked for 25.0 points and 9.7 assists in 2012-13. With Lin having played better than he has all season and Parker looking like his excellent self, this dual of point guards may determine which team walks away with the win in their final regular season battle.

Advantage: Even

Bench

Manu Ginobili is still a crucial bench piece for San Antonio, while Gary Neal give San Antonio a lift off the bench as and the power forward Stephen Jackson's play gives the Spurs added depth to call on.

Carlos Delfino hasn't been too great against San Antonio, only 7.0 points on 26.8 percent shooting to his name, but he can still be effective off the bench to give Houston a lift. The Rockets will need big contributions from Patrick Beverley, Greg Smith and Thomas Robinson, who scored 15 points against Cleveland Friday, to be able to keep up the pressure on San Antonio.

Advantage: Even
