NASCAR Teams Up With Hispanic Scholarship Fund as Part of National Heritage Month 2013

NASCAR donated $5 for every lap completed by a Hispanic or Latin American driver to the Hispanic Scholarship Fund's STEM education program as part of their National Heritage Month 2013 celebration. NASCAR has been expanding into the Hispanic market, including recently signing a 10-year Spanish-language broadcast deal with NBCSports, which includes races airing on Telemundo and Mun2.
