"Getaway" opens in theaters Friday and Latinos Post spoke to director Courtney Solomon about the style of the film and directing Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez.
This weekend Warner Bros will release "Getaway," a movie about a former race-car driver who is forced to against the clock when his wife is kidnapped. The film includes a number of special effects and stunts. Latinos Post recently spoke to Stunt Coordinator Charlie Picerni about his work on the film and the challenges of making the film.
This weekend "Getaway" will be released nationwide.
Many have started to prophesize the fall of the studio system including George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Some believe that the reasons for this downfall have a lot to do with the poor content being put out by said studios year after year. One would think that intelligent businessmen would look to improve their product in order to avoid said omens and keep audiences' trust, but alas that adjective "intelligent" may be too generous for the aforementioned businessmen. "Getaway" provides perfect support for these omens as it represents one of the worst films of the last decade and easily the worst of 2013.
"Getaway" hits theaters on August 30 and Latinos Post is partnering with Warner Bros. to give five lucky winners the chance to take home items inspired by the film.
