Class Action Law Suit Filed Against Time Warner Cable; CBS and Time Warner Resume Talks to End Dispute

Time Warner subscribers in Milwaukee, Wis. have filed a class action law suit against Time Warner Cable for blocking out programming from WTMJ-TV, a local station owned by the Journal Broadcast Group. Meanwhile, CBS and Time Warner announced at a New York City hearing on Thursday that they will be resuming talks to end the dispute and CBS blackout.

There has been no progress in negotiations between Time Warner and CBS this weekend, resulting in the continued blackout of CBS and Showtime for Time Warner subscribers. Analysts predict that the dispute could last several weeks.
