After an intense week in which Eiza Gonzalez was the focus of attention, after pictures of her alleged romance with Liam Hemsworth were revealed, the Mexican actress reappeared in a press conference to face, at least in a veiled fashion, questions of the media regarding this.

According to People en Español, the young actress was present at a press conference in Mexico City to present the Spanish language version DVD of the animated movie "The Croods," to which she lent her voice.

On her first public appearance after the pictures of her seemingly kissing the actor leaked, the Mexican actress made it clear that she would exclusively talk of the movie only. However, at the insistence of the media, the actress revealed some of the reasons for which she moved to Los Angeles.

"I left a month and a half ago. The reason I moved is that I have this movie I begin filming at the start of next year. I'm very excited because it was a project that got to me since I was in 'Amored Verdaderos'. The director is Mexican, Adrián Cervantes, and I thought it was very interesting because Adrián has the mentality to support this niche of Mexican actors," González told Mexican media.

The actress revealed that it's very clear to her that this new phase will be a great challenge for her professional career. "For me, beginning this process is very interesting. I've never filmed in English and my character is fully American. I'm not Mexican in the movie. Then it's also a challenge to perfect my English a hundred percent, without an accent, read to film and happy because my work is my passion," she added.

However, regarding the subject everyone wanted to know about, the alleged new romance between the actress and the "Hunger Games" actor, she didn't deny the rumors but refused to elaborate.

"Is the charm of Los Angeles named Liam Hemsworth?," a journalist asked during the press conference. "Los Angeles is a city that fills me with energy, it's a city with a lot of growth, a lot of cinema culture. I'm glad, super happy and my happiness is that: my work. Right now my happiness is my work," the young actress answered.

"On that matter (Liam Hemsworth) I have nothing to say," she concluded.
