The 2014 NBA Finals has come to a close, and the past five games featured a number of spectacular plays from the league's best players.

The San Antonio Spurs emerged the winner on June 15, 2014, winning the series 4-1 and ending the two-year reign of the Miami Heat, according to an SB Nation report.

Here are the top five highlights from the past two weeks.

1. LeBron James' monster dunk in Game 5

Miami Heat's superstar featured an array of dunks throughout the series. One of the most notable was a vicious dunk in the first quarter of Game 5. It seemed that "King James" wanted to make a statement that they were not going down without a fight. Chris Bosh initiated by driving down the lane then finding James close to the basket for a quick dish. James dunked the basketball with both hands to give the Heat the early lead 4-0.

2. Manu Ginobili's big dunk in Game 5

Dubbed "the best sixth man in the league", Manu Ginobili showed that the NBA has the best bench players in the league by putting down a strong dunk against Miami Heat center Chris Bosh. Manu drove towards the middle of the paint with several Heat players closing in on him. He got past Ray Allen before scoring the challenged jam against the much bigger Bosh.

3. Tim Duncan's put back dunk in Game 2

The 38-year-old veteran is known as arguably the best power forward in NBA history. He turned back the clock and showed his much younger form via a put back dunk which caused the San Antonio crowd to go wild. A missed shot by teammate Marco Belinelli propelled the 7-footer up to bring the ball back into the basket in a one-hand dunk. He looked very much like the Tim Duncan that won his first NBA championship over a decade ago.

4. Kawhi Leonard's put back dunk in Game 4

Recently crowned NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard was unstoppable in Game 4. One of his highlight plays involved a powerful two-handed put back dunk. Teammate Patti Mills missed a three-point attempt but Leonard was on sight to grab the ball and throw it down to the delight of Spurs fans.

5. The Spurs' 41-point explosion in Game 3

The San Antonio Spurs showed that teamwork can beat the defending champions. While playing away from home, the Spurs' quick ball rotation and classic plays allowed them to score 41 points in the first quarter alone in Game 3, ending in a series lead of 2-1 over the Heat.

In a report by ESPN, Miami Heat coach, Eric Spoelstra congratulated the Spurs and said, "They played exquisite basketball this series and in particular these last three games and they are the better team. There's no other way to say it."

The Spurs are truly a team that deserved another championship ring.
