Talks are circulating in the NBA that the big three - LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, will be going their separate ways after the 2014 Finals.

The three players might enter free agency at the end of the 2013-2014 season and two players are expected to choose to terminate their contract, reports Yahoo! Sports.

According to Wall St. Cheat Sheet, Chris Bosh shared in February 2014 that he and LeBron James will be staying with the Miami Heat in the following season. There is a faint possibility that Wade might think of transferring somewhere else despite playing only for the Heat in his entire 10-year career.

Miami has been commended because it efficiently used its cap space to afford three top-tier players and this may lead to a three-peat championship, writes Bleacher Report. The 2012 lockout resulted to a new CBA which makes it very difficult to maintain a super team such as the Miami Heat. For the 2013-2014 season, the Heat has a salary of $81.3 million. The salary cap is only $58.7 million. The team has to pay more for every dollar that goes over the threshold. Should the Heat keep all three in the following season, they are already over the cap even before the rest of the roster is filled out.

Bosh is expected to remain with the Heat. Dwyane Wade might be contemplating on his long term goals and issues on playing time. LeBron James might opt out to find another path in another team that will eventually cement his good image, and finally erase any bad memories he left by leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers to win championships alongside two other All-Stars.

Furthermore, it would be a mistake for Miami to assume that LeBron will spend the remainder of his career with them. The team has to learn about the previous actions of the superstar and if he truly wishes to stay with the Heat after the 2014 Finals, he should have expressed his decision months before.
