San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Tracy McGrady is relishing every moment of his first stint in the NBA Finals. After 16 seasons in the league, T-Mac finally has a real shot at winning it all, perhaps, without even breaking a single drop of sweat.

In an interview with Yahoo Sports columnist Marc Spears, the 34-year old McGrady said he's enjoying his ride with the Spurs despite spending most of the time on the bench.

"It's good to be experiencing this before I leave the game, although it's not under the circumstances I would like. I've been enjoying it," said McGrady, who played most of the past season in China before signing a deal with the Spurs at the end of the regular-season.

McGrady, who averaged at least 25 points per game at the height of his career, was reduced to a prominent figure on the Spurs bench as he only appeared on several occasions this postseason.

Nevertheless, it appears that McGrady has already settled in with his new role. He admits he didn't even expect himself signing with the Spurs in the first place.

"I shut it down for two months and I was shocked when I got a phone call from (Spurs coach Gregg Popovich)," McGrady said. "I was shocked. I got out of shape and I was like, 'You want me to come down now?' So when I went up to visit him, he told me he wanted me to be a part of his team. I just started getting back in shape and here I am."

On the other hand, McGrady also hinted on a possibly ending his basketball career at the conclusion of this championship series between the Spurs and the Heat.

"We'll see after this season how I feel," McGrady said. "If this team was the last team standing, who knows how I would feel about playing basketball again? To be on a championship team and to win a championship ... if that was to happen, I don't see any other reason for me to come back. I feel that I got a lot of game left, but I can't come back and settle."
