An Oklahoma City Thunder ball boy is currently under investigation for what appears to be death threats directed to Houston Rockets' guard Patrick Beverly, multiple sources reported on Sunday.

Oklahoma City Police has already teamed up with Houston Police to investigate an alleged 'internet threat' coming from a Thunder ballboy.

The die-hard Thunder fan was believed to be frustrated by Beverley after the Rockets point guard ran into Westbrook and eventually injured the All-Star's knee in the second quarter of Thunder's 105-102 win in Game 2 of their first round series.

Westbrook still played for the remainder of the ballgame, finishing with 29 points in 37 minutes. However, a torn lateral meniscus was discovered in Westbrook's left knee, which forced him to miss the entire postseason.

Michael Brown then vented out his frustrations on his twitter account and went as far as threatening to kill Beverly.

"Patrick Beverly (sic), I'm coming to kill you." He sent another using Beverley's Twitter handle; "@pavbev21 I'm coming to kill you," said Brown in his Twitter account.

According to team spokesperson Matt Tumbleson, the Thunder do not condone the ballboy's comment and plan to resolve the issue internally.

"We do not condone his comments. He works game nights on a voluntary basis. We will handle this matter internally," said Tumbleson, according to Sports Illustrated.

The ballboy, on the other hand, has already expressed his apology to Beverley and called his previous post inappropriate.

"Yesterday I posted something completely Inappropriate and I need to apologize. I was out of line and it will not happen again."

The next day, Brown removed his post and then tweeted that his account was hacked.

"@patbev21 yesterday someone tweeted on my account making a death threat towards you and it wasn't me. I apologize," Brown posted on his Twitter account on Sunday.
