The first day of NBA playoffs action has concluded, but the weekend of NBA action has only just begun, with four major first-round playoff games set for this Sunday.

First up, All-Star Paul George, Roy Hibbert and the No.3-seeded Indiana Pacers look to make a deep playoff run this year, but so do Josh Smith, Jeff Teague and the No.6 seed Atlanta Hawks, who will clash at the Conseco Fieldhouse for Game 1 of their first round series.

Next up, one of the NBA's greatest rivalries begins anew in a Wild West showdown as All-Star Dwight Howard, Steve Nash and the L.A. Lakers take on last year's Western Conference finalists Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and the four-time NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs.

Then, in South Beach, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and the world champion Miami Heat look to start the defense of their title in their quest to repeat as they take on Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis and the Milwaukee Bucks.

And in prime time out West, All-Stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook look to make another run at the NBA Finals while James Harden, Jeremy Lin and the fast and exciting Houston Rockets are aiming to make a surprising run for themselves when these two meets clash in what will surely be a high scoring affair at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
