It was hard to watch. And CBS Network is intending to make sure it stays that way.

In the wake of Louisville Cardinals guard Kevin Ware breaking his right leg in two places on Sunday during an NCAA Tournament Game, CBS limited replays of the injury to only two times during the game between Louisville and Duke.

Now, executives have instructed their television crews that they will no longer air any replays of the game, especially on Saturday when Louisville takes on Wichita State during the first half of NCAA Final Four weekend.

CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus told Fox News that they had elected not to replay the injury due to the graphic nature of the footage where Ware's right leg visibly collapsed after he landed wrong on his foot following a shot block attempt Sunday against Duke with over six minutes to go in the first half of the game.

"We did not zoom in on the injury when he was taken off," McManus said. "We did not try to highlight it. I think we did the right thing."

Ware's Louisville teammates were visibly shocked and some even collapsed on the floor in horror at the sight of Ware after the bone in his right leg visibly splintered out of the skin. Ware underwent emergency surgery immediately after the game and was confirmed by Louisville athletics officials to be walking on crutches on Monday following surgery.

Amazingly, Ware, who told ESPN Monday that he was unaware of how serious the injury was at the time, instructed his teammates to win the game and not worry about him, even while paramedics were attending to him on the court. Following the game, Louisville coach Rick Pitino in an interview with USA Today credited Ware for giving his shell-shocked team the focus and inspiration to beat Duke 85-63 to advance to the Final Four.

Ware was released from the hospital Tuesday, as video footage from USA Today shows.

An outpouring of support from celebrities has since come out for Ware, from NFL great Joe Theismann, who suffered a similar leg injury in 1985, to rappers Lil Wayne and Common, Extra host Maria Menounos, Brad Paisley, TODAY show host Matt Lauer and even acclaimed TV talk show host Larry King.

NBA superstar Kobe Bryant also pledged his support for Ware on his Twitter account, stating that he intends to visit the youngster while also bashing Twitter users that created fake accounts for Ware to draw attention to themselves. Bryant, who was recently coming off an ankle injury, was alerted to the fake accounts by his Twitter followers.

"I will just pick up the phone and call him. These fake chumps with fake accounts r pathetic #geturownlife good looking #mambaarmy," Bryant tweeted.
