A monster dunk heard 'round the world, a clever assist and a slick crossover from Kevin Durant made some of the top plays this past week in NBA action.

In the punctuation for what was a 129-97 blowout win for the Clippers, The L.A. Clippers' DeAndre Jordan posterized Detroit's Brandon Knight with an amazing, gravity defying dunk off a lob pass from Clippers star Chris Paul in the second quarter with 4:33 left.

The Clippers, who improved to 45-20 for a commanding lead in the Pacific Division, were already ahead 55-36 by that point when Paul found Knight as he rolled to the basket deep in the paint.

Also on Sunday, Kevin Durant continued to make his case for MVP with a 23-point night to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 91-79 victory over the Boston Celtics. Two of his 23 points came in the second quarter with 8:28 left as he faked out 15-time All-Star Kevin Garnett with a slick crossover dribble that left Garnett wide open for a quick jumper.

Last Friday on March 8, Chandler Parsons scored 26 points to help the Houston Rockets power past their rival Golden State Warriors 94-88, and got some help from Jeremy Lin, who had 15 points and 4 assists, one of them a beautiful no-look feed in the paint to Omer Asik.

On March 6, the Clippers continued to steamroll their way towards the Pacific Division title as they soundly beat the Milwaukee Bucks 117-101 behind Jamal Crawford's 25 points and Blake Griffin's 23 points. The two put the finishing touches on with 6:15 in the fourth quarter when Crawford pulled away on a fast break and put up a beautiful alley-oop to Griffin, who sealed it with an equally pretty slam dunk.

And that same night, Dwight Howard helped the surging Lakers make a late push for the playoffs with a game-saving block with only 30 seconds in the fourth quarter that helped the Lakers pull away with a 108-102 victory over the New Orleans Hornets. Kobe Bryant also had a magnificent game with 42 points on 14-of-21 shooting.

5. Jeremy Lin feeds Omer Asik down low

When Lin is in his zone, he’s one of the better point guards in the league, and he was in his element against Golden State, to Asik’s delight. Check out this pretty no look pass through traffic as Lin found Asik for the pass-and-slam at the 2:25 mark.

4. Howard Blocks Lopez to Help the Lakers Seal the Deal

He might draw criticism in the headlines, but there’s a reason why many consider Howard to be arguably the best center in the NBA today. One of them is his defense. Check out the three-time Defensive Player of the Year swat the Hornets’ Brook Lopez’s shot with only 30 seconds to go.

3. Kevin Durant’s Lethal Crossover on KG for the Jumper

Durant can beat you in so many ways, as Boston’s Garnett will attest. One of the toughest defenders in the league for years, even Garnett was stymied by the younger Durant’s crossover fakeout that sent Garnett going one way, while Durant went the other way and hit this jumper.

2. Jamal Crawford's AMAZING alley-oop to Blake Griffin

The Clippers haven’t been more fun to watch in years, and probably not even then. Watch Crawford put the ball through his legs in mid-air on a fast break, only to lob it to Griffin for the windmill slam.

1. DeAndre Jordan Posterizes Brandon Knight

One almost has to feel sorry for Knight.
The talented rookie has been making a name for himself with a nice year for Detroit, but Sunday, he was a good player caught in the wrong place at the wrong time—in the path of the freight train that was the L.A. Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan. In one motion, the 6’11”, 250-pound Jordan went straight up into the air and threw down a thunderous dunk, one of his 13 points for the night.

This one has to be seen to be believed.
