The biggest show at the biggest game of the year will get bigger, with legendary female singing group Destiny's Child reuniting on-stage at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show.

Several outlets confirmed recently that the trio of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will be performing onstage during the halftime show, which will be headlined by Beyonce when the Super Bowl comes to New Orleans, La., on Feb. 3.

Sources told Us Magazine the plan is to have Beyonce open the show as a solo act, then midway through the performance, Rowland and Williams will join the megastar singer onstage and do a medley of their old hits before singing their brand new song, "Nuclear" which will be released on Jan. 29, only days before the Super Bowl.

This would mark the first time that the group performed live since their farewell performance at the 2006 NBA All-Star Game.

Beyonce and Rowland announced via Beyonce's web site and social media site Twitter last week that they and Williams would be releasing a new album for the first time since they broke up in 2005, titled "Destiny's Child Love Songs."

On a sidenote, the Super Bowl performance will be the bookend performance for Beyonce, who is one of several superstar acts including Usher, Fun., Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys and Katy Perry that will perform at President Obama's Inauguration on Jan. 19.
