"Fancy" singer Iggy Azalea has already confirmed her new album's lead single. Fans wondering what she has been up to lately must now be enlightened.

Cambio reports that Azalea has resurfaced on her Twitter after a long silence to announce the lead single of her upcoming album "Digital Distortion." The new single is entitled "Team."

Apart from her recent Twitter truce with Erykah Badu, fans have rarely heard about the singer talking about music lately. This changed on Saturday, Dec. 26, when she tweeted the lead title of her upcoming album. She also went ahead and provided the meaning of this title, seemingly nervous about what critics would speculate. She said that "Team" means having her own back and being her own team. She added that the single would be mostly bop, but also meaningful and ratchet.

The single, however, has no confirmed release date yet. One thing for sure is that it would not be released in January. The singer said so herself in a subsequent tweet to an inquiring fan. She promised the fan though that even though the music would not be released the first month of the incoming year, "content, buzz songs, viral videos and other cool stuff" would be dropped that month.

It seems as if the singer would have a very busy 2016. Prior to announcing the title of her upcoming lead single, Iggy was quite quiet on her music plans. Instead, she announced that she would be competing in an equestrian event next year. Daily Mail UK reports that two weeks after this announcement, she was spotted looking like she is already practicing her riding skills. She was spotted taking her horse for a ride in California and was sporting serious riding outfit complete with the appropriate safety gear.

Interestingly, while there were fans who were supportive of her riding dreams, some fans lamented that she was not giving them anything about her second album "Digital Distortion." At last, she broke her silence on this new album.

In relation to her social media activities that were unrelated to her music, a post in her Instagram earlier this month also drew flak. After sharing a romantic picture of herself and fiancé Nick Young, some haters criticized her for "photoshopping" her face. Some even criticized her relationship with Young, Daily Mail UK reported.

It could be remembered that she and Badu had some altercations this month. Badu criticized her music as not really hip-hop in the Soul Train Awards, but Iggy chose to take the high road instead of directly getting into a feud. "We are days from 2016, but I came online today and saw it's still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments. LOL." Azalea tweeted. "F--king hell. Seems exhausting. Anyway - Ive been enjoying the holiday season and I hope you all have too."
