Who Will Roman Reigns Face in WrestleMania 32? [WWE News & Rumors]

With Roman Reigns officially become the WWE heavyweight champion, the road ahead promises to be a bumpy one.

Considering the gauntlet he had to go through, it is apparent that it is Reigns against the McMahons (or the Authority) depending on how you want to call it as hinted through the Bleacher Report. Bottom line, it doesn’t get harder than how he won it at WWE Raw just recently.

Well, the path towards that has somehow started. Sheamus is back and seems to be taking on the role of enforcer and ‘Authority’ spokesman.

With Reigns looking to celebrate on WWE Smackdown, Sheamus popped up and tried to kick the Big Dog off the show, citing that an investigation was underway in light of the attacks he had delivered to Triple H at WWE TLC and then WWE CEO Vince McMahon the night after on WWE Raw.

While the whole scenario was nothing new and something that calls to mind the storyline legal angles, Reigns seemed to have endured the adoration of the fans even more when he fended off in rough fashion the security tasked to try and remove him from the building.

Apparently, this storyline involving Sheamus is not expected to end anytime soon and likely to radiate until the WWE Royal Rumble. Considering the new found reception that the company has had with Reigns as champion, it seems unlikely that the title will change hands for now.

So with that said, it seems almost certain that Reigns will walk into Wrestlemania 32 with the title in hand as pointed out by Fox Sports. If that is the case, who will the Big Dog face?

One rumored opponent is Triple H. After the sudden ouster of Seth Rollins due to knee injury, it seems a showdown with Reigns could happen. It could be the culminating end of the feud though that remains to be seen.

If not Reigns, who else?

Brock Lesnar could feast his eyes on the gold but would the WWE Universe be open to another Reigns vs. Lesnar show? The only thing different now is that Reigns has the title and that there is no one who can cash in like last year.

John Cena could be another though it may depend as well. Initial plans had it as Cena going up against the Undertaker in what could be the final nail in the coffin of the Dead Man.

Between Reigns and Undertaker, the match with utmost importance is of course the Dead Man.

With the WWE roster depleted right now, Reigns opponent for the annual WWE extravaganza is someone backstage who is not (really) injured. Triple H seems to be the frontrunner with Lesnar a possibility regardless if they already met last year.
