A new Samsung Galaxy S7 fan-made video is making its rounds on the internet, and it will knock the socks off other Samsung fans as well as some developers.

The video is based on several Samsung Galaxy S7 tips which claimed that the highly anticipated smartphone's design will be the same as the S6, with glass on the front and back, metallic edges and bottom speakers.

The Galaxy S7 render also shows a fingerprint scanner and a camera located at the center of the phone. However, Smit's video features a smaller camera than expected.

Below is the Samsung Galaxy S7 video made by Jermaine Smit.

Meanwhile, below is a list of the pre-official Samsung Galaxy S7 specs from Slash Gear, via internal (anonymous) sources and other rumors.

  •  Rear Camera: 20 MP similar to Sony Xperia Z5, with 4K video quality and dual-LED flash
  •  Front Camera: 8 MP similar to the S6
  •  Dimensions: 143.4 x 70.8 x 6.9mm (5.65 x 2.79 x 0.27 inches)
  •  Screen: 5.1 inches, Super-AMOLED with 1440 x 2650 pixel resolution (Quad HD or 2K res)
  •  OS: Android 6.0 Marshmallow
  •  Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, Samsung Exynos 8890 (octa-core)
  •  RAM: 4 GB
  •  Battery: 3,500 mAh
  •  Internal Storage: 16, 32 and 64 GB options, with microSD card slot for expansion
  •  Special Features: Fingerprint scanner, Force Touch pressure-sensitive panel (under display), Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on front and back

There is no guarantee that Smit's video of the Galaxy S7 is what the smartphone will look like when it arrives, but it's highly expected to become a better version of the S6.

In other Samsung Galaxy S7 news, it appears that the handset won't be appearing anytime soon, as reported by GSM Arena.

It's fairly certain that Samsung will attend the annual CES event in January 5, 2016, especially since an invitation to the South Korean giant was reportedly leaked. They apparently confirmed their attendance to the press conference. However, while the New Year is looming near, it's still not certain whether the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be launched at the Las Vegas venue early next year, since it's still unknown what the company's agenda will be at the event.

Unfortunately, according to the aforementioned website, a CES announcement reportedly did not include the Galaxy S7 line up, which means Samsung could announce the mobile in March, the same month they announced the Galaxy S6.

CES will instead cover "innovations in TVs and home appliances".

However, it's still possible that the Galaxy S7 release could be pushed to January, but nothing is certain until the South Korean company officially announces it.
