She said "Yes"! Latina actress Eva Longoria just got engaged to her businessman boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston.
In a report by Entertainment Weekly, the actress posted a photo of her with Baston while they're in Dubai with a shiny red engagement ring on her finger. The couple were in Dubai to support the Global Gift Foundation.
The two started dating in 2013 before Baston finally decided to propose to the actress. In an interview she did previously, Longoria revealed what attracts her most in a man. She was probably pertaining to Baston during that time.
"I'm attracted to humor and intellect in a man. Let me tell you, I'm very lucky in life," the actress said.
In an article by Entertainment Online, it seemed like Baston made the day extra special before popping the question. The couple made a tour of the desert and was greeted by a romantic display of rugs and couches, as well as an aisle of petals. There was a picnic set up and music playing in the background. The two reportedly danced the night away as they celebrated their recent engagement.
For those who do not know Baston very well, Heavy created a list of facts about Longoria's fiancé. As it turns out, Baston who is also called "Pepe", is the president of Grupo Televisa, the big television and content group in Latin America. The businessman has been in that position since 2009 and has been part of Televisa since 1989.
In one of her interviews, Longoria confessed that she sometimes needs to step up her game in style because her boyfriend is such a good dresser. She also said that Baston is a private person. Despite their busy schedules and tim apart from each other, they were able to make their long distance relationship work.
"I'm in such a happy place in my life that it's easy to be open and in love because I am in a complete place," Longoria said. "Whether it's personal, career, new projects, going back to television, there's just so much happiness and joy in my life, and I think you know that transmits to everything."
Ana Ortiz, a friend of Longoria, said that he has never seen the Latina so happy. Ortiz said that she is "thrilled" that Longoria found her match, someone who is not intimidated by the actress and who is as driven and supportive.
