A creature with green and grey skin, suspected to be an alien, was caught on video. The footage was taken ten years ago, but it just surfaced after the uploader spotted a weird creature lurking behind gravestones.

The video begins with shot of the cemetery. The camera pans across the tombstones. At first, the mystical creature was unnoticeable. But the person who uploaded the video made it easy for the audience to see the creepy creature. The footage was zoomed in on by 500 percent and was slowed to three frames a second. And there was it, a frightening humanoid peeking from behind a tombstone.

Some viewers who watch the video believed it was proof that aliens exist. Others had more chilling tales, saying the creature was more of a demonic type.

"I think this thing is demonic. I've heard of similar things being sighted here in Oklahoma and the Bible alludes to the demonic having an affinity with cemeteries," one comment spotted by The Express read. Another comment said: "That is an alien; I can recognize them very fast." Another viewer said the creature "doesn't look nice."

The belief in aliens and UFOs are actually popular. In News.Discovery, Michael Shermer said that people of all educational levels believe in such things for the simple reason that it is fun to believe in weird things. In September, a poll from YouGov, first reported by Newsweek, found that the majority of the Americans, Brits and Germans believe that aliens exist.

According to the poll, 56 percent of the German population also believe in extraterrestrial life. 54 percent and 52 percent of Americans and British respectively believe in aliens.

Those who were polled for the survey were also asked why aliens have not contacted Earth if they truly exist. 42 percent of the Americans explained that human technology is not advanced enough for the Earthlings to establish communication with intelligent beings outside of their planet. 30 percent, on the other hand, believe that aliens have contacted Earth but the government has covered it up. One-quarter of those who were polled said aliens have actually visited Earth, but that it happened before the development of human civilization.

There were viewers who said that the video claiming to have caught the lurking alien was a hoax. Others did not know what to make out of it. One commenter said the video has to be fake. Another said something was fishy about the video - why do "they have their video camera at a cemetery?" One said the footage was good, but nevertheless fishy and suspicious.
