R&B artist FKA Twigs has apparently bowled over her beau Robert Pattinson's parents, as its been reported they like her more than ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart.
"She's very good for him and that wedding couldn't come sooner as far as the Pattinson clan are concerned," an insider reportedly revealed to OK! Magazine, as relayed by Design & Trend.
"Whether life partners or husband and wife, Rob and Twigs have their massive love of music in common and that's one of the defining features of this very intense relationship," the insider shared. "Rob loves making music with her and learning from her."
"It's actually made him into a much better person than he was when he was with Kristen, because it's opened up this whole creative outlet for him," the mole went on. "Rob is very open about telling people that this is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with and his family couldn't be more happier about it."
Looks like R-Patz definitely has no reason to hark back to his past relationship, although rumors of him and Twigs hitting a "rough patch" threaten to derail that belief.
"Rob realizes he's controlling and he sees Twigs getting cold feet," a friend said.
"FKA thinks Rob is suddenly being very old-fashioned -- and to her, just because there's the possibility they'll tie the knot shouldn't mean she has to change," the pal added. "Ironically, it's the kind of edgy mystique that attracted Rob to her in the first place. But now he seems to have become jealous and controlling, and she wants him to tone it down."
Rumors of their speculated engagement being called off also hounded the pair, although sources said that the nuptials are proceeding as planned, as reported by Hollywood Life.
It can be recalled that the actor had introduced his musician girlfriend to his parents during the year-end holidays last year.
"They absolutely loved her," a source told E! News. "It went so well. Rob's family has always been supportive of him and they thought they were great together."
A few months after the said introduction, the 28-year-old reportedly proposed to the "Two Weeks" singer, but not before asking permission from the mother and stepfather of his ladylove.
"They, of course, were thrilled beyond belief. He is quite traditional this way, and when it comes to something like marriage, he takes it very seriously," a source told Hollywood Life in a previous report.
The pair's wedding date is unknown, although it was rumored that the two had pushed their nuptial plans at a later date. Will they get hitched next year then? That remains to be seen.
