The off-court woes of Philadelphia 76ers rookie Jahlil Okafor seem to be coming out one after the other with reports that the Sixers forward was pulled over three weeks ago for reckless driving.

The latest revelation comes from The Philadelphia Inquirer which bares that Okafor was pulled over by authorities for driving at 108 miles per hour. Anything above 40 on the bridge is considered as reckless driving.

The new report appends Okafor’s list of issues which have curiously been coming out in the open.

Just last week, Okafor was involved in that Boston brawl which was allegedly sparked when some folks over at the Storyville NightClub in Boston allegedly started to heckle Okafor and the 76ers for their losing streak as reported by TMZ.

The Sixers have yet to win a game this season and at the rate they are going, the ballclub is on course to set unusual NBA records in the worst kind of way.

The Sixers recently bowed to the Memphis Grizzlies (92-84) which now ties them with the 2009-10 Nets. Another loss will allow them to snag that (dis)honor though they do get some sort of a reprieve as they battle and equally struggling team in the Los Angeles Lakers this coming Wednesday.

Okafor was one of the top rookie prospects last season but with teams opting to address their team needs over talent, the 19-year-old hopeful ended up being taken in third behind Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves) and D’Angelo Russell (Los Angeles Lakers).

Aside from the reckless driving and Boston brawl that Okafor has been linked to, there was another prior incident that Okafor had a gun pointed at him while arguing with a heckler at a Philadelphia club which the rookie preferred not to talk about per a report from Philly.com.

The sudden revelations on Okafor’s off-court issues have surprisingly been coming out and piling up, making most to wonder if there would be more ahead that would be tied up with the 6-foot-11 center-forwards run-ins.

On the basketball court, Okafor has been doing a decent job averaging 18 points and 8 rebounds in 17 games so far despite the fact that the Sixers have yet to taste an official win in the current season.

The last time that the Sixers won a match was March 15 of this year against the Denver Nuggets.

For his part, Okafor has yet to taste his first win as an NBA player.
