A few weeks after confirming her split with Joe Jonas, Gigi Hadid is reportedly back on the dating scene: this time with former One Direction member Zayn Malik.
It looks like Gigi Hadid has no trouble with breakups and moving on. According to a report from Hollywood Life, the model is dating Zayn Malik two weeks after her split from Joe Jonas was confirmed. The same thing happened previously when the model started dating Jonas weeks after her split from singer Cody Simpson.
It was Monday evening when news broke out that the two are dating. A source claimed that they are not in a relationship yet, but are rather on the stage of getting to know each other and seeing how things go from there.
"It's a very new thing. They're just seeing where it goes," the source said. "I wouldn't call them boyfriend and girlfriend. But seeing each other? Definitely. He's chuffed."
Hadid and Malik were photographed together in a car and were spotted getting close while partying in West Hollywood over the weekend. Their rumored date came after the model attended the American Music Awards where interestingly enough, the One Direction boys were also spotted.
In another report by US magazine, Hadid reportedly jumped inside the car where Malik was waiting. The source says that because of their busy schedules, the new rumored pair will just be friends for now.
It wasn't long ago when Malik did an interview and explained thoroughly why he left the band, his plans for the future, as well as his breakup with Little Mix member Perrie Edwards. The two have been together for four years when Malik decided to call off the engagement. No one knows the reason, but there were rumors that the 22-year-old singer dumped his girlfriend via text message.
Malik cleared the issue and denied having done that to Edwards. He said that he had so much respect for his ex-girlfriend that it wouldn't be the way he would choose to end things.
Malik is currently busy with his solo career with a new single coming up. Since he made an exit from One Direction, he has been busy focusing on the kind of music that would represent him better as an artist. The singer revealed that they weren't given much freedom when it comes to music choices when he was still part of One Direction. He also mentioned that the management decided everything for the band, and he left because he wanted to do his own thing.
As for Hadid, the 20-year-old model is fresh off the successful Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that she was part of. She admitted that it's been a dream of hers to walk down the runway. When she did, she even shared the moment with one of her good friends Kendall Jenner.
