Rihanna recently launched her own beauty and stylist agency in Los Angeles. The R&B star shared the details with The Hollywood Reporter.

Hollywood Reporter revealed that Rihanna, who is represented by WME, silently worked and started a fashion styling and beauty agency together with managing partner Benoit Demouy. The latter used to be involved with the agency Tracey Mattingly. The new L.A. firm is called Fr8me and helps artists in editorial shoots, red-carpet events, advertisement campaigns and booking commercials.

Rihanna told THR magazine that hair, makeup and styling all play essential roles in creativity. She said that she is heavily involved in those aspects of the process, so the agency has become an “organic thing” for her to do.

Fr8me’s line of experts include Mylah Morales, Rihanna’s longtime makeup artist, Jason Bolden, wardrobe stylist of Taraji P. Henson, Patricia Morales, hairstylist of Fergie and Evan Rachel Wood, and Marcia Hamilton, hairstylist of Jada Pinkett Smith and the Smith family. Rihanna mentioned that they are fortunate enough to feature some of the best artists, although she is still on the search for new talent with extraordinary skills.

Demouy added that their goal is to have a stellar reputation. The fashion and beauty industry have changed a lot through recent times. Rates have dropped and clients simply try to get inspiration from social media and bypass paying artists. He said that they are also concerned with social media, and would hire a makeup artist with 500,000 followers over someone else.

Willing hires can start preparing their social media accounts to hopefully be discovered by Fr8me. Rihanna’s reputation, fashion sense and connections in the business could propel budding artists to new heights, as well as make the market more competitive, to the advantage of beauty and fashion experts. The line of experts are also expected to showcase some of the brightest future stars in Hollywood. Currently, Fr8me did not mention which artists they are eyeing on and whether they have potential hires from the internet.

Aside from Fr8me, Rihanna also launched a photo agency, called A Dog Ate My Homework, which represents photographers Deborah Anderson and Erik Asla.

In the meantime, Harper’s Bazaar stated that Riri is also serving as creative director of Puma, filming for a new movie role and working on another studio album, titled “ANTI.” The Barbadian singer seemed to be relentless these days. More updates and details on her new business ventures and projects are expected soon.
