Sometimes a woman is sent to do a man's job and looks like drug kingpin El Chapo was living by these very words, as one of the top members of his cartel is Ana Marie Hernandez.

Hernandez is also known as La Muñeca, "The Doll." She lived a lavish lifestyle, spending thousands of dollars on shoes and clothes. However, that will be no more. She was recently captured in Chihuahua, Mexico after evading police for two years. She is wanted in the U.S. for "running a cocaine smuggling operation that brought drugs through Texas and to places as far reaching as Florida and Illinois," explains Fox News Latino.

The 38-year old and her ex-husband Daniel Ledesma allegedly smuggled thousands of kilograms of cocaine through the El Paso border, where he worked. They then shipped the cocaine to Chicago, St. Louis and Panama City, Florida.

Hernandez is said to have worked her way up through the ranks of the Sinaloa Cartel to establish a top spot in El Chapo's circle. She used a mix of beauty and brains to secure the position after the end of her previous group, Juarez Cartel.

Former chief of International Operations for the Drug Enforcement Administration Mike Vigil said, cartel leaders love having beautiful women around.

"Beautiful women are highly coveted by the cartel leaders, they bring them into the fold and a lot of times have relationships with them," he tells mySA.com. [The cartels] use them because they have the ability to infiltrate the United States and develop ties and distribution tentacles here."

"One thing we know about Chapo Guzmán is his love of beautiful women," Vigil added.

Hernandez is expected to be extradited back to the U.S.

Vigil also told mySA.com, Mexico is reportedly all for extraditions to the U.S. in light of Guzman's escape from a maximum-security prison earlier this year.

"The Mexican government is using these extraditions to keep pressure of their back until they are able to capture 'El Chapo. [His escape] was a significant embarrassment."

"Peña Nieto's government was widely ridiculed over it," he added. "Chapo was captured with American assistance and was handed to us on a silver platter."

Vigil further adds, "La Muñeca's" capture shows that even a lavish and gorgeous drug smuggler will have her day in court.

"Her capture by Mexican authorities shows that not even a beautiful drug trafficker like 'La Muñeca' is above the rule of law."
