The hype surrounding "Pokémon GO" is definitely huge. Thus, with huge expectations also comes the need for a huge financial support. Nonetheless, as it turns out, the companies backing the development of the game is willing to bet on it.

In a report in the Pokémon website, mobile game company Niantic, Inc. has revealed that they have already raised a $30 million financing from The Pokémon Group, Nintendo, and Google to support the development of the highly anticipated mobile game "Pokémon GO."

According to the report, the stated financial support features a $20 million upfront while the additional $10 million shall be given after completing and achieving certain requirements.

"The Pokémon Company, Google and Nintendo are incredible investors and strategic partners to help build the next chapter for Niantic. We will be using this capital to continue the development of Pokémon GO, to evolve and grow Ingress and its thriving global community and to build out our real-world gaming platform," Niantic, Inc. CEO John Hanke told the Pokémon website.

The game is currently being developed by Niantic, a company famed for developing games integrated with augmented reality. Nintendo and The Pokémon Group are also in collaboration with the company to deliver the customers' expectations.

"Niantic has shown the great potential of mixing geolocation technology, dynamic storytelling and innovative game design, and we're excited to continue supporting the team on their journey," Google Vice President for Corporate Development Don Harrison told in the report.

"Pokémon GO" is a pioneering mobile game currently in development stage. The game has come into the spotlight after revelations from its developers show that the game will push players to become real-life Pokémon trainers, searching in various locations to look and catch the best Pokémon in the area.

The game will be utilizing augmented reality and geo-location system in order to find Pokémon in the local area or vicinity.

As reported by Game Rant, there is not much information revealed regarding the technical aspects of "Pokémon GO." However, basing on the initial reveal just a month ago, gamers will be able to trade and battle their Pokémon in the game as well as participate in group events and tournaments.

Additionally, a "Pokémon GO Plus" wearable gear is also tagged with the game in which players will still be able to locate Pokémon without always pointing the camera phone in the environment, thereby making the catching experience more realistic and awesome.

"Pokémon GO" is said to be free to download once it is released. However, there is no news yet if there will be in-app purchases in the game. It will be released in a yet unspecified date in 2016 but it will be made available for iPhone and Android devices.
