Timothy Bradely, Jr. will be defending his WBO welterweight title against Brandon Rios this coming November 7 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, a fight which will showcase the new ‘Desert Storm’ who is now being handled by new trainer Teddy Atlas.

Atlas of course replaces long-time trainer Joel Diaz who Bradley surprisingly changed recently. And heading into his tiff with Rios, Bradley is pretty much upbeat claiming that he is pretty much happy with the change and that Altas is the guy.

"I'm very happy. It's a new energy. I want to learn and Teddy's the guy. Teddy is doing this not because of the type of fighter I am, not because of the money. He just wants to help me. He likes me as a person. And I like Teddy."

Looming as well in the background is the fact that Bradley stands to be the best in the division with a win over Rios. With Mayweather standing firm on his decision of retiring and Manny Pacquiao still officially out after undergoing surgery for his right shoulder, Bradley could very well reign supreme.

Though he has had controversies marring his past wins, Bradley does admit that to be the best, he must first fight and conquer the best.

“I feel like I’m one of them, but I would like to beat all the guys in the division before I say that. I haven’t faced everybody, but I know that I can fight these guys. I know I can beat all the guys in the welterweight division” says Bradley while announcing his next bout over in Los Angeles.

Bradley admits that there are other fighters he would want to face but apparently there are obstacles along the way that prevent him from doing so.

Among the boxers he hopes he can face one day include the likes of Kell Brook, Keith Thurman, Amir Khan and Shawn Porter.

However, Rios is no pushover and is known as someone who is not afraid to brawl. No matter what Bradley claims, Rios believes that Bradley will not be approaching the match with pure boxing in mind.

“I know Bradley’s going to come out to fight,” Rios said via the LA Times. “He can train to box, but he’s a warrior and he’s going to come to fight. And I’m going to fight my fight. Do what I do.”

At stake for the winner of the Bradley vs. Rios fight is a possible chance to fight Canelo “Saul” Alvarez in case the Mexican pulls through against Puerto Rican boxing champ Miguel Cotto.

Alvarez and Cotto are set to face off as well on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas for the WBC Middleweight title.
