The doctor is in! After years of waiting, Dr. Dre fans can expect a new album release in conjunction with the feature film, "Straight Outta Compton."

The upcoming effort will be the soundtrack to the movie based on the Compton emcee's early career and rise to fame as a member of N.W.A.

The "Straight Outta Compton" OST is said to be officially confirmed by the hip-hop mogul on The Pharmacy, his Beats 1 radio show, this Saturday, according to Rolling Stone.

The film's director F. Gary Gray said listeners can expect to hear the voices of other Compton musical greats, like Kendrick Lamar, as well as a familiar voice from Dr. Dre's previous collaborations, like Eminem, on the soundtrack.

Rumors revolving around the album release from the Beats founder have been circulating for years. Dre has dropped tracks and collabos intermittently since 2001, with fellow artists confirming his activities in the studio and a finished record. Rolling Stone even recalled his teaser of the album, "Detox," which dropped in 2009 via a Dr. Pepper commercial.

The hitmaker admitted in March he was working on a project for a movie in a discussion with radio DJ Big Boy.

"I'm working on something right now. I don't want to put it out there just yet and say that I'm definitely gonna put it out... this would be a record that's inspired by the movie," he said.

Fellow N.W.A member, Ice Cube, stopped by Philadelphia's Power 99, where he announced that the entire LP should be debuting on Aug. 1. He also gushed that the album will deliver music from N.W.A, and it has been a major project in the works.

"It's mega, it's Dr. Dre, it's what everybody's been waiting for," he said. "It's definitely a dope record, and he's dropping it all on the same day."

The rapper and actor also hinted at a possible reunion between the legendary hip-hop group on stage, with Slim Shady reprising the voice of the late Eazy-E.

"We've definitely been talking about it. It's just really about promoters coming to the table and we put together something that works for everybody," he added. "It's definitely, definitely possible."

"Straight Outta Compton" premieres in theaters on Aug. 14.
