Will Quicksilver die in the upcoming movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron"? A recent report from Bleeding Cool has said that Quicksilver, a role played by actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, is going to die in the new "Avengers" movie.

However, this speculation was debunked by Badass Digest's Devin Faraci who said that in the initial draft, Quicksilver was indeed said to die but this was changed. "I'm not sure what caused this change of heart - the plans for 'Infinity War'? (Joss) Whedon taking a shine to the character? - but as far as I know he does not kick the bucket in the movie. These things do change, and if he was slated to die once it's possible he could still be killed," Faraci added.

While the rumors have already been debunked, Movie Pilot's Sean Erickson, on the other hand, says there could still be a possibility for Quicksilver to perish in the much-awaited movie. Erickson noted that in the trailer, there was an instant where Quicksilver was missing while all other soldiers including Iron Man, Hawkeye, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, and Scarlet Witch were there. Check out the photo here.

Erickson also described Quicksilver as a "tricky character" since he is co-owned by Marvel and Fox. He said that it is possible that Quicksilver only came out in the second "Avengers" movie to "increase the tragedy of Scarlet Witch's origins but not muddy the superhero waters by having two versions of this character running around any longer than need be." The author added that Quicksilver's death caused by Ultron could then push Scarlet Witch to go with the side of the Avengers.

What do you think? Is this really the end of Quicksilver?

Meanwhile, Kdramastars reported that a new "Avengers" team will likely be formed. The newbies in the team are The Falcon, Scarlet Witch, The Vision, and War Machine. Superhero News, which Kdramastars cited as source, also said that they will be led by Captain America, played by Chris Evans, and Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson. Anthony Mackie plays the role of Falcon, Elizabeth Olsen plays as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, and Don Cheadle as War Machine.

Comic Book Resources said there are also other characters who are likely to show up in the upcoming "Avengers" movie. These are Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Spider-Woman, and Spider-Man.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1 this year. Watch the official trailer here:
