This confirms our earlier report which detailed on the possibility of the game taking the center stage during the April event. Game Rant said there is a huge possibility of seeing a new video teaser for the game during the event, especially since December, its expected release date, is fast approaching. It is speculated that the game's release date would coincide with the premiere of the upcoming "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" movie.

It was also reported earlier that a video teaser was shown to selected people during the GDC 2015 event and that it even received a standing ovation from its audience. A tweet from EA CEO Peter Moore said, "A GREAT show with my friends/partners @GameStop. Superb ovation for latest game play footage on @starwars Battlefront."
