Cristiano Ronaldo, 30, apparently made his former model girlfriend Irina Shayk, 29, feel bad about herself beside him when they were still together.

Yahoo! Sports reported that Russian beauty Shayk confessed that she felt ugly and insecure when she was beside the soccer superstar. The couple officially parted ways earlier in 2015, due to the alleged infidelity of the Portuguese.

Mirror reported that Andressa Urach, a 27-year-old Brazilian model, claimed that the footballer has been polygamous in her five-year relationship with Irina. She claims that Ronaldo have cheated on his girlfriend with her.

Ronaldo responded that Urach's statements were pure fiction and forgery. Two TV reporters, namely Vanessa Huppenkothen who is a Mexican, and Lucia Villalon, a Spanish who worked at Real Madrid TV, were also rumored to have romantic ties with the striker but both denied these. Huppenkothen said that she never met Ronaldo while Villalon said that their relationship was purely professional.

Irina told Hola, a Spanish publication, "My ideal man is faithful, honest and a gentleman who knows how to treat women."

She continued, "I don't believe in men who make us feel unhappy, because they're boys not men."

"I thought I had once found the ideal man but it didn't turn out that way." She added, "I think a woman feels ugly when she's got the wrong man at her side. I've felt ugly and insecure."

Shayk continued to share ideals, which could have hinted how her previous relationship was with Ronaldo.

Shayk stated, "Relationships are hard so you have to know what type of man you want by your side and what their values are, what is important in his life.

"If you stay with someone it's because you're walking in the same direction and you're both looking for the same thing," she said. "Both should share the same concept of what a relationship means and the same energy to believe in a monogamous relationship."

Daily Mail reported that Ronaldo said about their split in January 2015, "After dating for five years, my relationship with Irina Shayk has come to an end."

He added, "We believed it would be best for both of us to take this step now. I wish Irina the greatest happiness."

Although there are no confirmations about the cheating allegations against Ronaldo, he has been linked to numerous beautiful women in the past. Ronaldo has yet to clarify or refute the recent statements made by Shayk to Hola.
