Brooklyn Beckham may be following his superstar father's footsteps by joining Manchester United soon.

Mirror reported that David Beckham's son Brooklyn, 15, is currently playing for the Arsenal Gunners and was promoted to the Under-18 team but the north London club is planning to release him at the end of the season.

Independent reported that Brooklyn has been getting a lot of attention from scouts as he continues to improve in football. He posted a video of himself striking the ball onto the crossbar similar to how his father bends his kicks, making it impossible to defend.

Daily Star reported that several Premier League clubs are already interested in signing the young midfielder. Particularly, Manchester United is ready to acquire the younger Beckham in the summer if he exits.

Paddy Power, an Irish betting company, reported that Brooklyn might be making a move to Old Trafford, his father's former team. The bets are at 2/1 that he will transfer after he is done with Arsenal.

A representative of Paddy Power said, "It's unlikely Brooklyn will fall at this first hurdle, despite Arsenal sticking the knife in."

The representative continued, "But if a call up from United follows you can hardly imagine him being too upset."

However, Yahoo! Euro Sport reported that Paddy Power's statements should be taken with caution. Paddy Power reportedly made a number of wrong statements before so it is also highly possible that their predictions over Beckham's son might turn out to be equally false.

Overall, if the Red Devils do sign Brooklyn Beckham successfully, he is expected to draw a lot of attention from the media, considering how his father and Manchester United made beautiful memories together. More reporters and fans come to practices and games when David is watching. David Beckham appeared 394 times during his 11-year stint with Old Trafford. He garnered numerous awards before moving to Real Madrid in 2003 then subsequently to the United States.

Brooklyn is the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham. He has three younger siblings, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. He first appeared on television at the age of three and was also seen on his mother's reality TV show. He and his younger brother Romeo were encouraged by their father to play football at a young age, but it seems that Brooklyn is more skilled and more interested than his two younger brothers. Romeo has since tried his hand at tennis and seems to also be very promising at the sport.
