'Modern Family' Season 6 Cancelled? Nope, Repeats to be Shown Every Tuesday Night

Many fans of the hit comedy series "Modern Family" were left heartbroken after reports about the show's cancellation circulated.

Rumors about the show's cancellation started when actor Eric Stonestreet who plays Cameron on the ABC show shared on Twitter a story published by Clickhole. He captioned it: "So sad."

The Clickhole report said that the show was cancelled "to teach people that something you love can be taken from you completely out of nowhere, with no warning whatsoever."

The report even included a quote from an alleged ABC executive named Leon Kisch who said that "it saddens us to cancel a show as beloved as Modern Family, but people need to be taught that having something you cherish suddenly and inexplicably wrenched from your grasp is intrinsic to life. Fans of the show are better off learning that sooner rather than later, so they're prepared when it happens over and over again for the rest of their lives. Ultimately, that's what this cancellation is about. Not numbers or logic, but demonstrating the terror of our powerless existence on this earth."

So as to add more credibility to the report, it added another quote from one of the show's actors Julie Bowen who plays the role Claire Dunphy. Bowen was quoted as saying that they had a "blast making the show" but it has come to an end and she trusts the network's decision.

However, Clickhole quoting some sources said that the show may be "revived on Netflix or Hulu in order to teach people that, sometimes, miracles really do happen."

The show's reported cancellation probably broke many hearts and left many dumbfounded. But is this really the end?

Of course not! E! Online has already made it clear that the rumors were not true and that the show was not canceled.

This was also what Primetime Unreality TV revealed. It said that Clickhole is just a satire website and that the story on the show's cancellation is just a hoax.

Buckle up, folks and take note of this. "Modern Family" has not been cancelled but it will be showing more!

Primetime Unreality TV said that ABC recently announced that a repeat of the show will be aired on Tuesday nights, at 8:30 p.m. It will take the place of the cancelled show "Manhattan Love Story." "Modern Family" is still being aired every Monday nights at 9/8 c.

According to Primetime Unreality TV, "Modern Family" opened its sixth season last September with over 11 million viewers. ABC said that the TV series won the Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series for four consecutive times. It is also a recipient of a Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy Television Series.

The cast includes Ed O'Neill as Jay Pritchett, Julie Bowen as Claire, Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy, Sofía Vergara as Gloria, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Mitchell, Eric Stonestreet as Cameron, Sarah Hyland as Haley, Nolan Gould as Luke, Ariel Winter as Alex, Rico Rodriguez as Manny and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons as Lily.
