'Madden NFL 15' Ratings & Glitch Problems: Tiny Linebacker Showing in 'Solo Challenge'

It is traditional for gamers to look for glitches as soon as a new popular video game is released.

Madden NFL 15 by EA Sports also has its share of what can be described as "adorable" glitches. In the last week of August 2014, an article by Bleacher Report showed a lineman hurtling towards the sky in the initial videos of the game.

Previously, an in-game video showed a hilarious glitch of Madden NFL 15. Cedric Thornton of the Philadelphia Eagles collides with Jake Long of the St. Louis Rams. After the impact, Thornton is suddenly launched into the air by about 50 feet and 40 yards across the field.

In a report by NESN.com, although the Madden NFL 15 promises to be the most realistic version of the franchise yet, it comes with a "Tiny Titan" glitch. The miniature linebacker can be seen running around grabbing fumbles and getting tackled by players on the field. The linebacker measures just 1 foot and 2 inches and is actually rookie Christian Kirskey from Iowa. The Tiny Titan appears in the "Madden Solo Challenge" of the video game.

In reality, Kirskey is 6'2" and weighs 235 pounds. He was chosen by the Cleveland Browns but his dwarf version in the game has him wearing the Tennessee Titans uniform. The glitch was discovered by a gamer who was playing with Kirskey with the Titans, NESN.com  added. More gamers reported the same glitch and even shared a video of the small linebacker making some plays, which was both ridiculous and funny.

Social media users started sharing in-game photos of the Tiny Titan doing a variety of plays and exchanged comments. As EA Sports fixes the error, gamers can take advantage of the scenario and grab the chance to enlist the smallest NFL player ever for a few more days.

Madden NFL 15 is the most advanced and detailed version of the franchise video game yet. EA Sports presented a variety of exciting new features that make in-game plays more realistic such as Player Sense 2.0 which improves player emotion, head tracking and contextual awareness.

The environment has also been enhanced significantly and the lights and texture on players have been honed to make plays appear realistic, just like what viewers can see while watching NFL live or on TV. Minor glitches are expected especially during the first weeks of release. Updates will be provided by EA Sports to fix these accordingly.
