The secrets a woman keeps might surprise anyone witnessing the moment when she decides to open her heart and reveal the pains and sufferings she had kept hidden.

Such is the case of Argentinian actress Cecilia Galliano, who in an interview with the morning show "Despierta América" decided to make strong and personal statements which surprised and moved the Latino audience in the United States.

Interviewed by Orlando Segura, Galliano openly spoke of the moments she had to face since she left her native Argentina in search for her dreams and triumph as a model, a fight that led her to move to Mexico where, after a seven months long relationship with an Italian model, she got pregnant.

As most young women aged 21, Galliano first thought about her mother's reaction when she heard of the pregnancy; however, with efforts and challenges she welcomed her first daughter.

"With Vale I gained 40 kilos, I weighed 98 kilos, they made a c-section because Valentina was too big," she said, and revealed that becoming a mother wasn't easy because she suffered from postpartum depression. "I got out and I still weighed 80 kilos, and I used to weigh 55, 60. It was as if my life had been destroyed and you get this depression mothers get, which is postpartum depression," said the actress. However, after the process she lived a unique moment that made her inseparable from her daughter. "One day I'm at home and I went to pick her up and I saw her, she had such a pretty face, she was so sweet and her eyes so black, huge, then I said she's mine and from there on I wouldn't even let the father touch her," she added.

Later on, in her marriage with actor Sebastián Rulli, Cecilia said she sought to get pregnant for many months, undergoing multiple treatments, and even suffered an abortion three months after conceiving, before the birth of her son Santiago.

Another challenge reached the model's life and it was when a doctor told her about the presence of cancerous cysts, and underwent a long surgery, a process she lived with her months-old son Santiago and without the support of her spouse.

"The doctor told me you're full of cancerous cysts, and three days later I was in surgery, it took 8 hours. Santi was so small, along with Vale, without mom and without my partner, it was difficult," confessed Galliano.

Despite everything she has faced in her life, for Cecilia the loss of a child would be something she says she wouldn't be able to bear and thanked life for allowing her to believe in love again, by finding the "best life partner anyone can have," referring to actor Mark Tacher.
