 On April 18, a number of new films will enter the marketplace. Here's a list of this week's new releases.

"Heaven is for Real" : The latest entry in the Christian based film comes to theaters in time for the religious holidays. After the success of "Gods Not Dead," TriStar will try to have a breakout film in the genre.  The film is targeting the faith based community and tells the story if a small-town father who must find the courage and conviction to share his son's extraordinary, life-changing experience with the world.  The film stars Greg Kinnear, Kelly Reilly, Thomas Haden Church, and Margo Martindale.

 "Bears" : Disney's Earth Movies return to the big screen after a number of successful documentaries. John C. Reilly narrates the extraordinary documentary that follows an Alaskan bear family as its young cubs are taught life's most important lessons. The movie is likely to stay in theaters for two weeks and based on Disney's other entries, it is likely to be another successful nature film.

"Transcendence" : Wally Pfister's directorial review will finally be released after massive anticipation. However the film has scored terrible reviews and is currently has a 21 percent aggregate score on Rotten Tomatoes. The film stars Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall, Morgan Freeman, and Paul Bettany and tells the story of Dr. Will Caster who works toward his goal of creating an omniscient, sentient machine. However his experiments are halted when a radical anti-technology organization fights to prevent him from establishing a world where computers can transcend the abilities of the human brain. While Depp is a major star, the film is currently not tracking as well as pundits expcted.

"A Haunted House 2" : Open Road releases yet another spoof after the success of the first "A Haunted House." The first film which was released in 2013 made 40 million and was considered a financial hit. The new movie once again stars Marlon Wayans and tells the story of Malcolm who is starting fresh with his new girlfriend and her two children. After moving into their dream home, however, Malcolm is once again plagued by bizarre paranormal events. The movie has no reviews at the moment but based on the performance of the last film, Open Road can expect a successful film.

"Make Your Move" : After a number of successful runs High Top Releasing is unveiling the new dance movie in 125 theaters. The film tells the story of a pair of star-crossed dancers in New York who find themselves at the center of a bitter rivalry between their brothers' underground dance clubs. While the movie does not have much marketing behind it, pundits may be surprised.

"Fading Gigolo" : After a successful festival run John Turturro's latest film opens to mixed reviews. The movie, starring Woody Allen, Sharon Stone, Live Schreiber, Sofia Vergara and Turturro, tells the story of  Fioravante who decides to become a professional Don Juan as a way of making money to help his cash-strapped friend, Murray. With Murray acting as his "manager", the duo quickly finds themselves caught up in the crosscurrents of love and money.
