On March 18 a number of DVD and Blu-Rays will be released.

"American Hustle" - David O. Russell's latest film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray for the first time. The film was one of the most critically acclaimed movies of last year and was nominated for 10 Academy Awards including Best Picture. The films tells the story of a con man, Irving Rosenfeld and his seductive partner Sydney Prosser, who are forced to work for a wild FBI agent, Richie DiMaso, who pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia. "Hustle" featured an outstanding cast that includes Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Renner and Robert De Niro, and was a huge box office hit.

"Frozen" - It is a big surprise that Disney is releasing this movie given the fact it's still doing well in theaters and is currently in the top 10 films at the box office. The movie was one of biggest financial successes of the year and even won two Oscars. "Frozen," which includes voice work from Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Idina Menzel, tells the story of Anna who teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey in which they encounter Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna's sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

"Saving Mr. Banks - Disney's big awards contender turned out to be a financial bomb and an awards disaster as it failed to garner the Best Picture award. The movie features great performances by Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks and tells the story Author P.L. Travers who reflects on her childhood after reluctantly meeting with Walt Disney. The film will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD but is likely to do better on home video.

"Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" - Harvey Weinstein's release came out at the time of the politician's death. However, the film never gained traction and failed to be the awards contender that the company hoped it would be. The film chronicles Nelson Mandela's life from his childhood in a rural village through to his inauguration as the first democratically elected president of South Africa. The film may have bombed in theaters but is likely to gain traction given the subject matter and Mandela's death.

"Kill Your Darlings" - The Sundance hit by John Krokidas was one of the big hits of the festival circuit but failed to register at the box office. The movie made a minor $1 million and showed that Daniel Radcliffe, the star of Harry Potter is not the box office draw studios believed. The film, also starring Ben Foster, Michael C. Hall, Dane DeHaan, Elizabeth Olsen and Jack Huston, tells the story of a murder in 1944 that draws together the great poets of the beat generation: Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs. Sony Classics Pictures will only release a Blu-Ray/DVD combo after the disastrous run.
