John Travolta wants to be a James Bond villain.

The actor said in an interview with the Telegraph that he has already spoken to film's producers who loved his ideas even though they already have an actor in mind for James Bond 24. He said, "I would love that. They're going a different way with their villain in this next film but I've spoken to Barbara Broccoli about it and she loves the idea, so that would be great."

Travolta was last seen in "The Killing Season," "From Paris with Love," "Bolt," "Ladder 49," "Savages," and "Old Dogs." He has also starred in "The Taking of Pelham" and is best known for his work in "Grease" and "Pulp Fiction."

James Bond 24 is will be directed by Sam Mendes ("Revolutionary Road," "American Beauty") after the success of "Skyfall." The 23rd installment in the Bond series became the most successful film in the franchise earning more than $1 billion worldwide. The film was also a critical success and was even nominated for five Academy Awards; it won two.

James Bond 24 is slated to star Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as Q. John Logan will write the script for the new movie while Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson will produce. The new film is rumored to shoot in Ireland and start production in early 2014. James Bond 24 will be released in the U.K. on Oct. 23, 2015 and in the U.S. on Nov. 6, 2015.
