‘Tis the season to be jolly, and no one takes it more seriously than the NBA. Well, that may not be completely true, but it’s doing its best to fuel the excitement in grand fashion.

In order to do so, the NBA released a festive video on Thursday that features the league’s best players rehearsing a rendition of “Jingle Bells” with their precision shooting. The nets are rigged with bells, each one of a different pitch. If the video is real, the display is rather impressive, but if you watch closely, the balls do appear to have certain ‘special effect’ qualities, especially once they fall back to the court. What’s more, there aren’t any microphones surrounding the bells, which all sound oddly uniform. But then again, the spirit of Christmas suggests otherwise. Plus, these are the best players in the world. It’s just a matter of how many takes it took them to get it as perfect as they do in the video. Check it out for yourself below.

The video promotes the new NBA Christmas jerseys and features Derrick Rose, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Steve Nash and Stephen Curry. Whether or not the video is fake, which, sorry to say, is likely, it’s a fun and creative idea that spreads the holiday cheer in a unique and fresh way. Cheers to the NBA and happy holidays to all!
