Martin O'Neill will make his debut as the Ireland manager when the team takes on Latvia in an international friendly Friday.

O'Neill was unveiled as the new manager over the weekend and has been tasked with getting the team to qualify for the Euro 2016.

There has been a great deal of speculation over Captain Robbie Keane's future with the club and O'Neill was coy, not offering any direct answers.

"Robbie arrived in last night," said O'Neill according to the Irish Times. "I haven't had a chance to speak with him one on one, other than a few words, and again today. I wouldn't have thought anything would change at this minute, in the immediate time we have, I don't see any point in doing that.

"After these two games are over, I will have time to consider these things but I wouldn't be changing that now."

Ireland was eliminated from the World Cup after finishing fourth in a group that included Sweden, Austria and Germany among others. Latvia also faltered in a group headed by Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece.

According to the Irish Times, Ireland's squad is as follows:

David Forde (Millwall), Keiren Westwood (Sunderland), Rob Elliot (Newcastle); Sean St Ledger (Leicester City), Marc Wilson (Stoke City), Seamus Coleman (Everton), John O'Shea (Sunderland), Alex Pearce (Reading), Stephen Kelly (Reading), Joey O'Brien (West Ham), Ciaran Clark (Aston Villa), Stephen Ward (Brighton & Hove Albion); James McCarthy (Wigan Athletic), Glenn Whelan (Stoke City), Paul Green (Leeds Utd), Andy Reid (Nottingham Forest), Aiden McGeady (Spartak Moscow), Anthony Pilkington (Norwich City), James McClean (Wigan), Robbie Brady (Hull City), Stephen Quinn (Hull City), Wes Hoolahan (Norwich City); Shane Long (West Bromwich Albion), Robbie Keane (LA Galaxy), Jon Walters (Stoke City), Kevin Doyle (Wolves) and Anthony Stokes (Celtic).

Prediction: The Irish should be the favorite to come away with a win in this game. Look for Ireland to win 3-0.

Start Time: Kick-off starts at 2:45 p.m. EST.

The Match will not be broadcast on television or online in the United States.
