Halloween was a night of real terror and horror in New York City. Four people were fatally shot while several others were wounded in various shootings within the boroughs of Brooklyn, The Bronx and Queens.

At least six people were shot in separate incidents around the city, one person was stabbed, a woman reported a sexual assault on her way home from a Halloween party, and one person was shot in the face with a BB-gun, said authorities according to the New York Post.

The rash of violence kicked off in Brooklyn at 4:03 p.m. when a man was wounded in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Three and a half hours later, 46-year-old Shawn Rhodes was shot several times inside a 2002 Chrysler Voyager parked near his home in East New York, police said. He was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital, the Gothamist reports.

Later on, around 8:30 p.m., 19-year-old Anthony Seaberry was shot in the torso on East 31st Street in East Flatbush; he was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.

The bloodshed continued around 11:30 p.m. when Kevin Thompson, 37, was gunned down in Brownsville and taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound to the neck.

Two shootings occurred in Queens, one in the Rockaways and the other in Jamaica, which left two victims wounded.

A man was shot in the face with a BB gun in East New York, while another man was stabbed during a family dispute in East Flatbush, police said. Both of those victims were taken to area hospitals and are expected to survive, police said.

No arrests have been made yet in any of the six Halloween shootings, said the NYPD.
