On the latest episode of "The Good Wife," Alicia and Cary gear up to finally jump the Lockhart/Gardner ship.

On the episode, Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Cary (Matt Czuchry) have a meeting to discuss stealing clients/files from the firm. Meanwhile, Diane (Christine Baranski) is packing up while one of the paralegals, Chrissy, is suing the firm for creating a hostile work environment, which could create problems for Diane's potential judgeship. The paralegal says that Diane tried to sexually harass her, and to top it off, Chrissy's lawyer is Viola Walsh (Rita Wilson), Diane's sworn enemy. The firm wants to hire Elsbeth, a quirky lawyer, to deal with the lawsuit.

Diane then spends time with her new man, Kurt, a forensic gun expert. Although she looks happy, her friends question if she should date someone whose political views are so divergent from her own.

It's then revealed that one of the firm's partners, Howard Lyman, did--unintentionally--flash the paralegal (he was taking a nap sans pants, and she walked in). The other younger members of the firm sent an email to the paralegal, inviting her to visit Howard as a joke, knowing he was not not fully clothed.

During the deposition for the paralegal case, it also comes out that Will (Josh Charles) had sex in his office with someone other than Alicia.

Diane then sees Alicia accessing her files, which makes Diane suspicious. Diane meets with one of her clients, and gets her to admit that she's switching to the Florrick law firm. Later, Diane takes a trip to the courthouse with Kurt. When she comes back from her wedding, she walks into Will's office and tells him that Alicia and Cary are leaving the firm, and are taking some of their top clients with them. Will is not happy about the development, to put it mildly.

On the next episode, everything will come to a head, and it won't be pretty. The synopsis for the next episode, "Hitting the Fan," reads: "Alicia and Cary's plans to leave the firm are exposed and a desperate battle to retain clients begins."

TVLine reveals that in the episodes following the contentious law firm split, there is a very slim chance that Alicia and Will will ever get back together. Nevertheless, TVLine calls the upcoming episode "easily the show's best."

Watch a preview for "Hitting the Fan" below, which airs Sunday, Oct. 27 at 9/8c on CBS.
