We all have those moments. They hang over our heads with irreparable force. They have the power to ruin our day, week, or even month as we bang our heads on the table and ask ourselves, “Why did I text that?” It’s a regret far too common in this day and age. Communication is far too easy. With a few clicks, you can send whatever you want to whoever you want, leaving the door wide open for spontaneous, irreversible messages. Once it’s sent, there’s no turning back. A cute text that seems fun and innocent in the moment could prove detrimental. It’s a dangerous game, a game in which some are better versed than others.

The most recent example of epic selfie regret goes to the Starbucks guy. What started as an innocent guy’s attempt to seduce an LA model quickly evolved into an Internet phenom. The Starbucks barista, Brody Ryan, repeatedly asked for the young customer’s phone number, which she reluctantly gave to him. What she got in return was a 16-second clip of him staring into the camera and playfully touching his face with a eerie smile while listening to Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home.”

The video instantly went viral, and what do we get with viral Internet memes? Parodies. So while you dwell on your own text message mistakes, check out some of the best “Starbucks Drake Hands” parodies to help ease the pain.

The original. How many times do you think he practiced this before sending it to his dream girl?
