The cold is settling in. There are only a few more weeks remaining of golden autumn days, which means it’s time to head south. It’s time to head to a land where the sun always shines, peaches grow on trees and manners are cherished. Unfortunately, many remain trapped in the bitter winds and piles of snow, but not all is lost. There’s always a shimmering beam of light to bring you warmth.

“Hart of Dixie” is back. It made it’s Season 3 debut earlier this week on The CW, bringing the sweet southern warmth to fans watching while bundled under a pile of down comforters. Now with the premiere a thing of the past, fans are desperate for more of what’s to come, and they’re in luck. In a recent interview with Zap2it, Wilson Bethel, who plays Wade on the show, opened up about Zoe’s return to Bluebell and how her new love interested will put Wade in the backseat.

“She’s got a new beau,” Bethel said, referring to Zoe’s budding relationship with newcomer Josh Cooke as Joel. “She picked option D, which nobody saw coming. But I don't think that necessarily rules out any of the other possibilities of Wade or George. Nothing much changes in Bluebell. As other things change, Bluebell stays the same."

So what does that mean for poor Wade and George? Zoe left them for New York last summer, and now that she’s back, the circumstances couldn’t be worse. "I think George has kind of moved on," Bethel said. "But Wade still has some feelings and Zoe still has some feelings. It's complicated. That's probably the appropriate terminology. Your guess is as good as mine. I honestly have no idea."

"There's a few new characters introduced who I think will be with us for a while," he added. "At least for the first portion of the season. It's going to set us up for a whole new season full of romantic twists and turns. It's good."

“Hart of Dixie” airs Monday nights on The CW.
