Netflix is a monster. It continues to pump out fantastic content that lassos viewers in close and won’t let go. Not only are its hit shows “House of Cards” and “Orange Is the New Black” some of the most currently revered shows in television, but its Watch Instantly channel has changed the way we watch TV and provides their viewers with a more personal and versatile experience.

Within the past year, the network unveiled both “House of Cards” and “Orange Is the New Black,” setting records and earning worldwide acclaim. As one can assume, the demand for new content is high, and Netflix continues to deliver. Both series are currently in production on their second seasons, and for fans of “Orange Is the New Black,” their day just got a little better.

While the majority of rumors have circulated around the pending return of Laura Prepon’s Alex, new details have hinted at even greater loss. According to TV Guide, Nicky, played by Natasha Lyonne, will be losing another lover and close friend in addition to Alex.

"I think she's a real fighter survivor type who will find her way in any situation, so I have good faith in Nicky making it through," Lyonne said. While Alex’s departure will take a heavy toll on her, she’ll hold on to hopes of getting back with Morello. "I think Morello is super hot, but I'm also a little bit sick of her not treating me like an equal human being and always talking about her fiancé. Like Nicky's getting her feelings a little hurt, so if Morello wants to show up in a healthier way for Nicky and really say, 'I'm here to be your girlfriend,' maybe I'll have an open mind to it," she said. "None of this necessarily comes up in the second season, but that's the story I've written in my mind."

“Orange Is the New Black” will return to Netflix sometime in early 2014.
