Everything seems to indicate that Mexican actress and singer Eiza González' attempts to win her place in Hollywood have begun to pay off.

According to information published by People en Español magazine, the Mexican actress will participate in an American film where she will share screen time with British actress Bonnie Wright, known for her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films.

"I begin filming 'All Hail the Squash Blossom Queen' in February, it's incredible" the actress told Mexican show Hoy, according to the same source.

"It's a movie where I found the script very interesting, because its concept is like "The Misfits'", a very American matter. The story is very fun, all the characters are incredible", shared the Mexican actress, according to People.

Eiza González has been living in Los Angeles for some weeks now, and had revealed before that she had moved to the United States to work on her career, mostly in American cinema.

"I left a month a half ago. The reason I moved is that I have a movie that begins shooting early next year. I'm very excited because it's a project I got since I was in 'Amores Verdaderos'. The director is Mexican, Adrián Cervantes, and I thought it was very interesting because Adrián has the mentality to support this niche of Mexican actors", the actress told Mexican media, as was reported then by newspaper Milenio.

On the other hand, Eiza has revealed that she currently has other projects to develop on American soil. "I have two other movie and television projects that keep me happy, because I left Mexico for these projects and I didn't know if they were a sure thing", she told Hoy.

However, despite finding herself in a happy phase of her life and her professional career, Eiza González misses her family. "I miss my mother a lot, my family, my sister, my niece who is a year old; I'm in love with my family and they're obviously my support. The most basic thing for me... I'm a family person, I'd love to be spending more time with people that bring me back to my roots and my tranquility", the Mexican singer said, quoted by People.
