Colombian singer Shakira showcased to her social network followers the relationship she has with her mother-in-law, Montserrat Bernabéu, the mother of footballer Piqué.

People assures that both women have a good relationship when spending time with Milan, the son of the singer and Bernabéu's grandson. But besides spending time together, they also share advice, as Shakira shared a message from her mother-in-law to Gerard Piqué on Twitter:

Protecting the brain should be a priority in contact sports like soccer. The short and long-term consequences could be fatal!

"Shakira is a spectacular person, a humble woman of great values that is also the second most important woman in show business. I find her to be a fascinating person," Shakira's mother-in-law, who is head of the "Brain Damage" department in the Guttman Institute in Barcelona, said in radio show "La Hora del Té" in Colombia.

The good relationship between the two women is evident. The article quoted by People shows that besides the pictures the Latina singer shares on social networks, she was seen in 2011 in the company of her boyfriend's family. Shakira, along with Piqué's family, were present during the presentation of the novel "Dos Vidas," written by Joan Piqué's, Shakira's father-in-law. The Colombian singer took a seat between her mother-in-law and her boyfriend to watch the event.

Website Quién shares that a month ago, Shakira shared brief vacations along with her boyfriend's family in the French countryside. She herself uploaded many pictures to her personal Twitter account.

People highlights that the footballer, throughout his career, has been a victim of a series of terrible accidents in the field which have caused him several concussions, but now he has two women in his life, Shakira and his mother, who worry for his personal and professional well-being.
