The most official-sounding rumored specs for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 have leaked, showing that the South Korean giant is planning three variants of the new phablet.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be revealed at the Samsung "Unpacked 2013: Episode 2" event, which is taking place on Sept. 4 in Berlin - one day before the IFA 2013 consumer electronics convention starts in the same city. As always happens before a launch, the once-tightly guarded bevvy of information about the device is starting to leak like a sieve.

On Monday, we got to see some "official" specs, brought to the web by an anonymous "insider" that SamMobile trusts. At the time, it looked like there would be two variants of the device, but on Tuesday, another variant's "confirmed" specs made its way to the web through the same channels. Here's what the three versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 look to be: SM-N900, SM-N9005, and SM-N9002.

First off, all three are speculated to have the same sized display - and, if correct, this could put to rest all of the contradictory reports about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 having a 6-inch or a 5.99-inch or a 5.7-inch display. According to SamMobile's source, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will have a 5.68-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, with 1920 x 1080p resolution. The base model, the SM-N900, looks to have that Exynos Octa chip Samsung has been working on - officially running on a 1.8GHz octa-core Exynos 5420 chip. The same is confirmed for the SM-N9002, which looks to be the variant of the Galaxy Note 3 headed to Chinese markets, but the N9005 has an unconfirmed CPU (though it's likely to be the same). The Octa-core will have some graphics assistance from a ARM Mali-T628 MP6 GPU, which is also likely to be across all models.

One of the most persistently rumored specs on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the device's RAM, which looks to be confirmed, at least on the N9005 model, as indeed being 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization also looks to be on all models of the Note 3. The Galaxy Note 3 and variants look like they'll be powered by a 3,200 mAh battery, which is pretty big, though not as large as the almost 3,500 mAh battery that has been rumored. Obviously, the Galaxy Note 3 will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but it's nice to know that it will be running on 16, 32, or 64GB of internal storage, depending on how much you want to pay, and up to 64GB of extra storage on the microSD slot.

Though this comes from a trusted "insider," these specs have not been confirmed, and probably won't be until the Samsung Mobile "Unpacked 2013: Episode 2" event in September. So take this with a grain of salt and keep checking with Latinos Post Tech for more updates as we get closer to that moment.
