Latino superstar Eva Longoria is considered to be one of the most influential people in all of Hollywood. The actress, who was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to a family of Mexican Americans, is a woman that knows how to multitask and how to do it well.

Aside from a successful carreer as one of Hollywood's most bankable actresses, Longoria started her own production company called Unbelievable Entertainment, which has produced shows like "Ready For Love" and "Devious Maids". The star has also made sure to give back to her community through The Eva Longoria Foundation and by fighting for Latino rights in the political arena.

The actress recently sat down for an interview with website MujerHoy.com (Univision has mirrored it here), in which she said that the secret to her success is how ambitious and hyperactive she has been her whole life.

"I'm curious by nature, I'm also energetic and ambitious. Ambition can provide more than talent and intelligence," the Texas native told MujerHoy.com.

Thanks to that same ambition which Longoria claims is the core of her success, the actress was the third highest grossing TV star in the entire industry during 2012, according to Forbes Magazine. Longoria managed to attract household brands like Pepsi Next and L'Oreal Paris that made her their global spokeswoman.

"Money is not everything. I was also a happy person when I lived in a run down apartment in Hollywood. I have a natural tendency towards happiness, it's in my DNA. Whatever the circumstances, I am an optimist. That is why I believe in philantropy so much," the actress added.

That same optimisism and joy of life is what probably has gotten the star through a recent string of bad relationships. Although Longoria is now dating Miami businessman Ernesto Arguello, she went through a nasty divorce with basketball player Tony Parker in 2011, as well as two very public breakups with Eduardo Cruz and NFL player Mark Sanchez.

Even though Longoria was once married, the actress has not had any children and does not rule out the possibility of starting a family in the near future. "Can a woman have it all? Hope so. I don't have kids right now, but that does not mean I will not have any ever. I don't feel any pressure at the moment. If you limit yourself you're lost from the beginning. I have big dreams and I'm open to any and all possibilities, " the star concluded.
