On Monday April 15th, Univision will premiere the new telenovela "Que Bonito Amor."

The series starring Danna Garcia, Jorge Salinas and Pablo Montero, tells the story of Santos Martinez who is betrayed by his business partners and must flee and create a new identity for himself. When he reaches a small town he meets Maria Mendoza with whom he instantly falls in love.

Univision has described the series as a very traditional Mexican story that brings the viewer to the country's roots.

The novela premiered in Mexico to rave reviews and has generated a massive audience. Univision expects to have the same success because of Salinas and Montero's followers here in the US.

Garcia is best known for her work in "Pasion de Gavlianes," "Te Voy a Ensenar a Querer" and "Corazon Partido."

Salinas last starred in "La Que No Podia Amar" for which he won the Best Lead Actor at "Premios TVy Novela." He also starred in "Fuego en La Sangre" and "La Fea Mas Bella."

Montero was last seen in "Triunfo del Amor" and also co-starred with Salinas in "Fuego en La Sangre." Montero also recently released his 10th CD "El Abandonado."

"Que Bonito Amor" also stars Angelica Maria, Victor Noriega, Arturo Peniche, Salvador Pineda and Rafael Negrete. The series was produced by Salvador Mejia and is a remake of the Colombian serial entitled "La Hija del Mariachi."

Univision will air it at 10pm.
