Last night Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison had a heat exchanged on Fox News' host Sean Hannity on his show. During a segment on the sequester, Sean Hannity blamed the looming sequester on President Obama. He also accused the president of "fear mongering" and neglecting to work on a bipartisan solution to prevent the $85 billion in automatic cuts slated to take effect on Friday. Hannity proceed to then play clips of the president talking about sequestration while a hyper, creepy orchestral instrumental played in the background.

Shortly thereafter, Hannity introduced the Minnesota Democratic who immediately slammed the TV host calling him "the worst excuse for a journalist I have ever seen." He went on to express his outrage toward Hannity's commentary about the sequester and accused the host of manipulating viewers into believing that it is Obama's fault.

Hannity shot back saying, "I guess that's what we can describe as staying on message, something the Democratic Party I would argue is very good at."

"You're pretty good at it, too," Ellison retorted. "Quite frankly you are the worst excuse for a journalist I have ever seen." He continued saying, "What you just displayed was not journalism, it was yellow journalism, it wasn't anything close to try to tell the American people what's really going on and I mean, it's just shocking."

Hannity fired back that he was sharing Obama's own statements.

"The president was truthful. The president was honest," said the Rep. "What the president said was dead on accurate and for you to say the president is to blame here is ridiculous. I was there August, 2011 when the Republicans, your party, which you shamelessly ..."

"I am not a Republican," Hannity interjected.

The segment continued with both Hannity and Ellison over-talking each other until finally Hannity ended the interview, calling it a "total waste of time."

"I'm moving on because our audience deserves better," said Hannity.
