Here we go again. More news concerning who will play the coveted roles of Anastasia and Christian in the upcoming "50 Shades of Grey" movie. Rumors and speculations have been driven into the ground, but rightfully so. The movie will promise to be one of the biggest releases of 2014, if not the decade, providing the lead actors with the role of a lifetime.

This time around, 'The Vampire Diaries'' Nina Dobrev is the center of attention. The 24-year-old's got the looks, the skills and the age. The full package. Dobrev opened up about the role to Wet Paint back in October.

"I depends on the script, always. If it's a good script, and a great director, then who knows," Dobrev said.

The actress does have some reservations however. Her current boyfriend and 'Vampire Diaries' co-star Ian Somerhalder is in the running for the role of Christian, which makes Dobrev a bit uneasy. Some fans feel that their chemistry would shine on the big screen together, but others, including Dobrev, think it would take away from the film.

"I don't know if that's a good idea. I think it's best for any of the actors on Vampire Diaries to kind of do their own things ... and create new characters. And as much as you try when you shoot a movie, if it's two of the same people, the fans will always see you as ... they'll see you as Elena and they'll see him as Damon if we do the film together," she told The Celebrity Café.

Dobrev is one of many actresses considered for the Anastasia role. 'Gilmore Girls' Alexis Bledel is currently at the top of the list, but many fans say she's too old to play the role, regardless of Hollywood's makeup tricks. Lucy Hale, Emma Watson and Felicity Jones are also among the top contenders.

The cast decisions have yet to be made, but as speculations continue, we can only hope for our own personal favorites. Keep your fingers crossed.
